A pending status is often queue-based rather than lost funds. Save reference ID first, then wait the channel window before manual escalation.
Amount-range mismatch is a silent error
Some channels reject requests outside min/max limits without clear UI warnings. Check amount bands before retrying.
Practical rule
If one method times out, do not force five retries. Validate method details, retry once, then escalate with transaction evidence.
